wellll, i really really think Expo is a LOUSY place to hold a concert.
but oh wells.
okkay, she was pro-ed. and so was fan fan and guo jing.
but sadly, they couldnt bring the atmosphere up.
but i guess we could really enjoy her voice.
i was super amazed at her vocal range.
and the high and low notes were SOLID. impressed.
it was a not bad performance, but the atmosphere was like baddd. the encore was like super soft and all. and the lighting and sound system. and the seats. oh wells.
but, good comeback (:
and nopes, i am not going to compare it with ah mei's. (which i went for too) because it's not a fair comparison.
okkay, i am back after a VERY long time. alot of albums came. like wu ke qun's.
but that's not the point. point is, i finally see TANK somewhere. not that he is releasing his album, but ah well, he is sort of back. finally.
wo jiu shi zhe yang, liu li yang, feat. TANK.
it is a liu li yang song. the first hit of her album. i dont get it, TANK's album was SUPPOSED to be released BEFORE yoga's and liu li yang's. and now grrahhhh. i think he'll have to wait until after SHE. disappointed. but back to the song.
liu li yang HAS character. at least in this song. i like the feel, where she appears to be so strong and independent and wow. the song builds up, from the start where the character didnt really show, until the end ((:
compared to the song with aaron (Ti Amo), i rather this song. this song really shows liu li yang's voice. she can do rock music (: ROCKER! hahah. [sheesh, i am reminded of xiaoyu] i think that TANK's accompaniment and rap did help quite a bit. in that their voices did not really clash like aaron's and liu li yang, and it added to the feel. it;s like "yeah i am liddat, what can you do" kinduv thing. niceee ((: the song might have been alrights without the rapping i guess, but the rapping did helpp abit? (:
it is the HIM thing, where they always look for the old people to help promote the new ones. like du chang qing ge, zhi dui ni you gan jue, ti amo...
you just cant get tired of the song (:
shuaii!
ANYWAYS, go watch chao ji xing guang da dao 3. support HUANG JING LUN and SUGIE (:
and derrick's album will be released somewhere this year, so go support yah. and lollipop er jun's EP too.
i'll be back soonish.
and her album was released last year in may.
it's just me slow.
but because of CMB, well i've just discovered her.
she has a wunnerful voice! and her songs are generally quite nice. really.
so anyways, go check her out if you havent :)

[P.S. i think JANE is a nice song (:]
AND grrrr. i just found out about this online blogger who composes songs. well...there is this song of his that sounds really familiar. like some song some singer sang before. but he is pro.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogSgS7PbR
[i.e. sorrryyyy i wont be doing 56 and f4. go listen yourself]
anyway, HAPPY CNY ((:
so gary first.
gary is realllyyyy into the whole "super" theme. superwoman was good, superman was below my expectations, supersunshine...not bad. i admire gary, for doing music only cause he wants to.
1st track. supersunshine. yupps remake of a really popular song. but mind you, superwoman was a remake too. gary seems to do remakes realllyyy well (: supersunshine, a must-listen. i like the way he sings the song...it's veryyy cao ge. but not tooo cao ge. just enough to make you like it (:
then there is qi chuang ge. it's a reallyy un-gary song. at least, i dont exactly like gary singing this kinduv song. quite jazzyyy...but it's really easyy on the ears (: and i guess i have to say this is the first song of gary that makes you smile ((: the previous songs were good, but none were happy enough to make you smile! nice oneee (:
and wu gu! i loveeee this song (: it's like bei pan, just that bei pan was a tinyweee nicer [in the sense that it sounded better lah]. BUT wu gu was GOOODDD too! AND it touches you ALOT more than bei pan does. but the mv freaked me out. lol. this song jus brings you back the garyyy i am more familiar with. the one who sang bei pan, shi jie wei yi de ni, chen mo wan ju, gua mu xiang kan etc...the gary who is so freakae but so pro-ed. maybe it's the way he sings it, maybe it is just the song...i dont know. but it just gets into you.
and then mei mei yao kuai le! not bad! but the part that goes "mei mei bei zhe yang wa wa"...it is a lil out of place i guess. and with this kinduv expression of the song, how does anyone be kuai le?!
track 5. chui chui feng. gary is pro-ed. it just gives you the feeling that you are sortuv by the beach just enjoying the sea breeze. PLUS the sound of the waves...very light feeling. he is probably one of the few who can give sooo many different kind of feelings. garyyy IS good (:
track 6. nice nan hai. the first expression when listening to this song: O.o dont likeeeeee! it's just weird. nice nan hai is not nice!
and then there is DAN SHU! hahah! niceeeee ((: it's another gary song. i dont know how to describe it...it's just good. actually, i think the chorus is the nice part. the chorus gives you the feel...but the verse [esp. B part] just destroys the whole thing. not totally, but just not as much.
8th track, ai dao zui hou yi miao ye bu wei qu. i read reviews, no one exactly mentioned this song. but i thought this was a good song. lyrics maybe not that good at parts, but on the whole, the song is greatt. but i think the musical accompaniments were quite redundant and out of place at some parts. i am looking forward to one day when gary sings live w/o these sounds. maybe it'll sound better.
track 9, ai ai. the cny mood at the start a bit weird. i was like "huh?" but apparently this song is quite well-liked by people around. i guess it's alrights, but i dont exactly like like it.
2nd last track ai de gu du. very lazy feeling. not suited for gary. i guess eason or linyoujia would have done a better job on this. after all, this is a very them kinduv song.
last track, ni de ge. well, it is a mixture of gary's songs at the background, plus him talking. really sweett (: JIAYOU GARY!
the whole album as a whole is GOOD!! i still prefer superwoman but this is good. it deserves a 8.5/10. a nice mixture of songs (: good job!! there are people who say gary songs take time for you to like them. i guess so, but this album, there are alot where you just like them. time, does not matter that much anymore. perhaps, this is why pple say he is becoming more mainstream. but he still is the same gary, the gary who has his own ideas.
recommended tracks: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8
track listing:
1. Supersunshine
ohkay, i have decided to do this first, cos their music is easier on the ears (like duh, they cant try sth too hard yett), plus i am tiredd. cant take anything to powerful X)
according to freshmusic's review, feilunhai (which i will refer to as FLH) is better than bangbangtang(which i will refer to as BBT or lollipop). but according to i-weekly's review, BBT is better than FLH. yups, it's really subjective. perhaps some pple will look at how cute they are, or maybe just the music.
cute-ness wise, i take BBT :) i am not sure if that is gonna affect my review, though i think it might, a lil...
but i have to say, i got higher expectations for FLH then for BBT cos no matter what, FLH has more experience and started off alot better.
okkay, so about BBT first.
well, from their first EP to now, they have improved, individually and as a group. they are beginning to look more like a boyband. previously, they were just six individual guys doing their own stuff. other than the main vocalist xiaoyu, other members like wangzi have improved quite abit. and on the song, perhaps watching their mvs, you will have a better impression on some, cos they are more focused on the dancing (sortuv), and yeahh pple have improved in their dancing as well. their 26th jan concert at taipei xiao ju dan, just based on 1 album, 1 ost and 1 EP. they most prob have made history, but we all do not know how it will turn out yet. stage performances i am sure will be good since they are quite visual. but about the singing, perhaps they will show a greater improvement during the concert.
the first track, YES! has a similar style to qi cai bang bang tang and hei tang xiu, and yeahh it is veryy BBT. catchy i have to sayy. and the lyrics are easy to remember. it's a song veryy easy on the ears (yeah it is, dont deny it), and it makes you happy! maybe it's cause BBT is still young, they have the qing chun (youth) that just makes you happy. it is quite hard to just not sing along to the song :))
next up is wo men zhi jian. well, i personally quite like this song X) no doubt it shows that they cant really sing, but their voices are really easy on the ears. their singing, not good. but i wont say it is unbearable. average. but the song itself is good. also easy on the ears, and the tune...i like! it reminds me of ku cha in hei tang ma qi duo. this is the BBT everyone is so familiar with. in the sense that this is their style, you listen to it, you know it is them. and it is those kind of VERY EASY TO REMEMBER sortuv songs. is this the power of ou xiang tuan tis? i am not suree...but i like this kinduv feel. just like 56 last time (i havent exactly heard their newest album so i shall use the term last time)
then there is meng xiang ba shi. it's a quite cute song, listen to the lyrics. it is using cuter terms to talk about a quite matured theme...but i have nth else to say about this. it is just like that. i mean, yeahh, it is just another song, not much to impress me with.
and then bian shen san fen zhong. perhaps one of the songs which leaves completely no impression on me. just like meng xiang ba shi, they are both comfortable to listen to, but that's all to it. you dont remember anything about it.
nextt, na li pa. the same name as their album. i think it's a really cool idea to make them sing the "na li pa" part fast, cos it will sound like lollipop. really cool! haha. maybe it's just me =.= but i like the idea, and it makes me happy to listen to this X)) it is a fast song, but it isnt like Yes. it is just different but nice as well :)
then there is xing fu jiu hao, which i think is a not bad song too :D hahahah. note, i said song, and song doesnt mean singing. (BUT i STILL EMPHASIZE THAT YOU MUST ADMIT THEY HAVE IMPROVED). but as compared to wo men zhi jian, they sound better here. and more emotions too! :) also, it is not so much a solo effort by xiao yu anymore :)
track 7, gen zhe wo de tempo. i think it's super cute and funny how they actually used weilian's lack of rythmic sense as a theme for the song. i dunno, it is just so cute it makes you smile X)) hahaha! but why? i am not sure...aftr listening to the song you still have the "i am happy" feeling, but you dont remember a thing about the song. haha.
then there is wo yi jing zhang da. hahahah, i like the start, where you hear ao qian go "errr" and the rap is damn cool! it's like about all of them. it's like all their names are included and yeah no specific theme or whatever, but it is just nice listening to it! like gen zhe wo de tempo! stupid song, but funny and happy :D AND IT IS A SONG WITH NO MELODY =.=
and there is na yi tian. (haha the title reminds me of lin you jia's na shou ge). ohkay so anyways, na yi tian is a slowww song. but it's nice :) perhaps my favourite slow song in the album. melody-wise, it is more soothing than the other 2. singing wise, they really sound better, though it is back to a more xiao yu kinduv position.
last track, Make me a fool. WRITTEN BY XIAOYU! ohkay i heard him sing it on mo fan bang bang tang. and yeah he did a good job...both on writing and singing. and it is nice tooo kaes! though i still prefer na yi tian...this will be the 2nd favourite then! hahahaha :D just enjoy the song lahhh! no reason, i just enjoy it :D
basically, they are a typical ou xiang tuan ti. singing-wise, big space for improvement. dancing, they are good, but they still can improve. perhaps cos of mo fan bang bang tang, they already have a fixed style - qing chun ou xiang. they are still young people, i know they can improve, but one day their style will have to change. i am not sure about how things will turn out, but for now, just enjoy this qing chun ou xiang tuan ti feeling - refreshing and just nice. you may think they are just fooling around, but it makes me happy :D 7/10 for their improvement AND happiness AND whatever you have! and in fact, i am quite shockedd that i actually listened to this whole thing w/o much complaining and stuff :) yeah, no doubt it is cause of their qing chun! so while you can, enjoy it :D
track recommendations: 1,2, 6, 9,10
track listing:
1.Yes!
2. 我们之间
3.梦想巴士
4.变身三分钟
5. 哪里怕
6.幸福就好
7. 跟着我的 Tempo
8.我已经长大
9.那一天
10.Make me a fool
nextt we have FLH's shuang mian fei lun hai. their first album, i will say there were A FEW songs i enjoyed, some i thought were okay and those i completely didnt like. they have improved as well, but they dont have the "i am a group" feel like BBT. well, it is sortuv expected cos they are all doing their own stuff. but of course they are part of HIM, and HIM does their best to get their artistes the best. of course in flh, they have those who can sing quite alrightly, like aaron. but perhaps i got my expectations too high. of the 13 tracks, 2 are from X family OST, 1 from Romantic Princess (but cos there is no OST it's okay) and 2 bonus tracks which are not exactly bonuses.
first track, xin wo, is a collaboration with SHE (again). there is something about FLH always working with SHE. sometimes it makes me wonder if SHE is the one who makes the songs nice, just like in zhi dui ni you gan jue. apparently i cant imagine the song without S.H.E., and so does this song. without S.H.E, it is gonna be weird. i dunno if they are using the SHE ren qi. but i have to say that this song is a must song if you watched romantic princess. it's fast, but it doesnt give you the happy feeling. it just sounds like a fast song that you listen to when you watch romantic princess (gong zhu xiao mei), that's all.and personally i think the MV doesnt suit the feel.
then we have wei ni cun zai...ohkay this is a quite nice song :) i say it is nice cos i liked xia xue. if you didnt like xia xue, you wont like this song. but just by comparing the 2, you can tell that they have improved loads. the style is like xia xue, the feeling is like xia xue, but this just sounds better (in terms of singing), but i prefer xia xue.
i shall skip tracks 3 and 4,chu shen ru hua and bu hui ai, cos they are recorded in the X family OST. and that's why i have no idea what it is doing in here.
track 5, TiAmo, is an Aaron and liu li yang production. disappointed. that's all i can say. i mean, aaron is the one who can sing in FLH, i expected something better. but aaron's solo part didnt turn out that good. in fact, liu li yang outshone him. she is wow i have to sayy. but i give aaron credit for making the part they sang together so wonderful. it is not possible for that to happen if it is only a one person effort.
track 6, ai de wang dao. leaves no impression. it's comfortable on the ears, but it gets boring after a while. nothing much.
track 7, xin li you shu. the prelude sounds greatt :D but after that it is just like that. not that bad i guess, but not that good either. but it is a good cover for their not-so-good singing as well :) comfortable! and quite cute...sortuv.
then we have ming ri xiang. haha the hanyupinyin reminds me of the lucky star! but anyway, about the song, it is another of the song i like :) perhaps a lil like wei ni cun zai, but different. this is nicer, feeling is better...i have to say, good one on this! if you listen to this a few more times, perhaps you will like it alottt alott, and get addicted...i am not sure, cos i havent gotten addicted yet.
then there is zhi shao hai you wo.NICEEE! it is simple, but who said that nice music has to be complicated? NICEE! my favouritest song in both this album and the previous one :) finally something that really catches my attention :D
and yi wan ge kuai le! well, i didnt like it at first, but after that it sortuv just got onto me. this is perhaps the one song which has the most emotions, and the one they did best at. i dont know what else i can say about it, but really, you should go check it out :D
xiao xiao da ren wu! hahaha, there is something about this song i quite like! esp. the chorus...i dont like the verse, but the chorus is quite good :) but the rap is like O.o + a =.= hahaha. but yupyup, this is a not bad attempt :) and it is the onlyyy song that makes me happy (in this album) when i listen to it X)
and the 2 bonus tracks, a guy version of xin wo and chao xi huan ni (WTH?!). how bonus is chao xi huan ni!? (but it is like one of the better songs kae) so let's just talk about the guy version of xin wo. okay i take back what i said before in the xin wo part. this is not bad :) but the feeling is down. it was alr not that good (other than the SHE part), but now that there is totally no SHE, it is just dull. BUT i still have to say it's a good job :D
well, generally, there is a greattt IMPROVEMENT from the last time. the style is different too. i still prefer the older style. at the very least, the older album had more songs that leaves you with impressions. this is like, nice to listen to, but you dont remmeber them. and you dont have any feelings about it whatsoever. it is just like that. but the songs are quite nicely arranged i have to sayy, and well, yeahh this is HIM for you. their music is always quite good! just that in this album, i dont get much impression. but the music, no doubt is good. i will give a 6.5 for the album. the music deserves a 7.5, but i really have no impression, no feelings, no nothing after listening to this album. it is like just one hour of feilunhai. and then uh huh, good music, alright singing, but no emotions. perhaps they are still not suited to go this way yet. the previous album, there was quite alot of happy feelings after listening to it :)
recommended tracks: 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11
so anyways, there may be more tracks recommended from FLH, but the whole album as a whole, BBT! cos FLH really leaves me with no impression and no feelings, although they may sing better and their songs are also quite comfortable to listen to. at least BBT songs are happy and i remember them :) but both have improved loads, i have to say. so yeahh it's a good job for both groups. personal feelings, i think FLH is really unsuited for the new style they are following. and FLH really needs to work on their singing, cos BBT is gonna catch up real soon. really, they are good. just very qing se.
but all is subjective. whichever you think is better, you get whichever. [some may just choose 56 or f4. who knows]
